Important Update on Peak Season Surcharge

Dear Valued Customer,

We hope this message finds you well. Due to the increase in ”Peak Season” surcharges (also referred to as  “Demand Surcharges”) from both UPS and FedEx, we will be implementing a $5.50 surcharge on ALL orders beginning Monday, October 7, 2024.

While UPS and FedEx are applying these surcharges to every package, we are committed to minimizing the impact on you. That is why we will only be passing along an additional $5.50 per order, absorbing part of the increased freight costs on your behalf. We anticipate removing this surcharge on Monday, January 20, 2025. This, of course, is dependent on UPS and FedEx. Each of their announcements stated that they would return to their normal pricing by that time.

Our flat rate shipping policy will remain unchanged during this period—shipping will still be $20 for all orders, with FREE shipping on orders over $200. This $5.50 surcharge is a temporary adjustment during UPS and FedEx's busiest season.

Below, you’ll find a copy of the publications breaking down the multiple increased surcharges FedEx and UPS will be applying during this period. These are also available on each of their websites, FedEx here and UPS here.

We understand this may raise questions, and we are more than happy to assist you. Please feel free to reach out if you have any concerns.

Thank you for your continued support and business. We truly appreciate it!

All the best,

The Albright’s Supply Team
